Therapeutic Indications

Dosage & Administration
Recommended Dosage (Strictly as per Physician):
- Route: Intramuscular (IM) or Sub-conjunctival or Slow IV Infusion.
- Adults (IM): 600 mg (2 mL) every 24 hours. Severe infections: 600 mg every 12 hours.
- Adults (IV): 600 mg to 1 gram every 8 to 12 hours (Must be diluted and infused over at least 1 hour).
- Pediatric: 10 mg/kg every 24 hours (IM).
- Warning: Rapid IV administration can cause cardiac arrest (Hypotension). Always dilute.
Safety Warnings:
- Gastrointestinal: Can cause severe colitis (Clostridium difficile). Discontinue if significant diarrhea occurs.
- Contraindications: Hypersensitivity to lincomycin or clindamycin.
