Vancomycin Hydrochloride Injection (Lyophilized)
Healthy Inc is a specialized global supplier and exporter of critical care glycopeptide antibiotics. We provide high-purity Vancomycin Hydrochloride Injection, manufactured in our WHO–GMP certified facilities. This “Last-Resort” antibiotic is widely exported to hospitals and ICUs in Africa, LATAM, CIS, and Southeast Asia for the treatment of life-threatening infections caused by Gram-positive superbugs.
Product Overview
Vancomycin is a tricyclic Glycopeptide Antibiotic. It acts by inhibiting the biosynthesis of the bacterial cell wall. Unlike Beta-lactams, it binds to the D-Ala-D-Ala terminal of the peptidoglycan precursor.
It is the “Drug of Choice” for:
- MRSA Infections: The primary treatment for Methicillin-Resistant Staphylococcus aureus (Pneumonia, Septicemia, Endocarditis).
- Penicillin Allergy: Serious Gram-positive infections in patients strictly allergic to Penicillins and Cephalosporins.
- Antibiotic-Associated Colitis: (Oral use of the injectable solution) for Clostridium difficile infection.

Manufacturing Authority
Manufactured at our WHO-GMP & ISO 9001:2015 certified unit.
- Lyophilization: Optimized freeze-drying cycle ensures a highly stable cake that dissolves rapidly.
- Purity: Chromatographic purification removes “Factor A” impurities, reducing the risk of nephrotoxicity.
- Capacity: Scalable production for emergency hospital stockpiles.
Therapeutic Indications
Indicated for the treatment of serious or severe infections caused by susceptible strains of methicillin-resistant (beta-lactam-resistant) staphylococci:
- Endocarditis (Infection of heart valves).
- Septicemia (Blood poisoning).
- Bone infections (Osteomyelitis).
- Lower respiratory tract infections (Pneumonia).
- Skin and skin structure infections.
Dosage & Administration
Strict Medical Supervision Required (ICU/Hospital):
- Adults: 2 gm daily, divided either as 500 mg every 6 hours or 1 gm every 12 hours.
- Infusion Rate (CRITICAL): Administer by SLOW IV Infusion over at least 60 minutes. Rapid infusion causes “Red Man Syndrome” (flushing, hypotension, rash).
- Monitoring: Trough serum concentrations should be monitored to ensure efficacy and avoid toxicity.
Safety Warnings:
- Nephrotoxicity: Risk of kidney damage; monitor renal function (Creatinine) closely.
- Ototoxicity: May cause transient or permanent hearing loss if levels are too high.
- IM Injection: DO NOT administer Intramuscularly (causes necrosis).
