Description
Carbazochrome Salicylate Injection (Veterinary)
Healthy Inc is a specialized global supplier and exporter of veterinary haemostatic agents. We provide high-purity Carbazochrome Salicylate Injection, sourced from WHO–GMP certified sterile facilities. This systemic capillary stabilizer is a top export to equine racing circuits, veterinary surgical centers, and livestock management firms in Africa, LATAM, and Southeast Asia, specifically relied upon to control capillary bleeding and prevent exercise-induced hemorrhage.
Product Overview
This formulation contains Carbazochrome Salicylate, an oxidation product of adrenaline that acts as a potent haemostat.
The “Capillary Sealer” Specialist:
- Mechanism: Acts directly on the capillary walls to increase their resistance and decrease permeability, effectively “sealing” leaking vessels without affecting blood pressure or cardiac output.
- No Clotting Effect: Unlike other coagulants, it does not alter the blood clotting factors or prothrombin time. It purely targets vascular integrity.
- Rapid Control: Reduces bleeding time significantly (up to 50%) by controlling oozing from small blood vessels.
- EIPH Adjunct: Used in racehorses to strengthen pulmonary capillaries and reduce the severity of “Bleeding” (Exercise-Induced Pulmonary Hemorrhage).

Manufacturing Authority
Marketed and Distributed by Healthy Inc from WHO-GMP & ISO 9001:2015 certified veterinary units.
- Photostability: Carbazochrome degrades rapidly into inactive brown pigments if exposed to light. Our manufacturing and packaging lines are UV-shielded to ensure potency.
- Solubility Engineering: Uses precise salicylate buffering to ensure the molecule remains in solution without precipitating.
Therapeutic Indications (Veterinary Use Only)
Indicated for Cattle, Horses, Dogs, and Cats:
- Surgical Hemostasis: Prevention and treatment of capillary oozing during and after surgery (e.g., ear cropping, tail docking, ovariohysterectomy).
- Epistaxis: Control of nosebleeds in horses and dogs.
- Hematuria: Treatment of bloody urine due to infections or trauma.
- Udder Bleeding: Management of bloody milk in dairy cows due to mastitis or trauma.
- Traumatic Bleeding: Accidents, wounds, and postpartum hemorrhage.
Dosage & Administration
Recommended Dosage (Strictly as per Veterinarian):
- Route: Intramuscular (IM) or Subcutaneous (SC).
- Cattle & Horses: 5 mL to 10 mL (25 mg – 50 mg) per animal.
- Dogs & Cats: 0.5 mL to 2 mL (2.5 mg – 10 mg).
- Frequency: Administer 2 hours before surgery for prophylaxis. For active bleeding, administer every 4-6 hours until bleeding stops.
- Withdrawal Period:
- Meat: 0-1 Day.
- Milk: 0 Days.
Safety Warnings:
- Not for Arterial Bleeding: Carbazochrome is effective for capillary bleeding (oozing) only. It will not stop heavy arterial or venous hemorrhage (spurting blood).
- Discoloration: Do not use if the solution has turned dark brown.
- Drug Interactions: Safe to use with antibiotics and anesthetics.
- Antihistamine Note: Antihistamines may inhibit the action of Carbazochrome; avoid concurrent use if possible.
