Description

Frusemide Injection (Veterinary)

Healthy Inc is a specialized global supplier and exporter of high-performance veterinary diuretics. We provide high-purity Frusemide (Furosemide) Injection, sourced from WHO–GMP certified sterile facilities. This potent “Loop Diuretic” is a top export to equine racing circuits, dairy co-operatives, and veterinary hospitals in Africa, LATAM, and Southeast Asia, widely recognized as the gold standard for managing severe edema and preventing exercise-induced bleeding in racehorses.

Product Overview

This formulation contains Frusemide (also known as Furosemide), a sulphonamide-derived diuretic that targets the kidneys.

The “Fluid Control” Specialist:

  • Rapid Action: Induces profound diuresis (fluid loss) within minutes of Intravenous administration, quickly relieving pressure on the heart and lungs.
  • Mechanism: Inhibits the reabsorption of sodium and chloride in the ascending limb of the Loop of Henle in the kidneys, forcing water excretion.
  • Edema Relief: Specifically targets fluid accumulation in the udder (physiological udder edema) and lungs (pulmonary edema).
  • EIPH Control: Standard prophylactic treatment in racehorses to reduce blood pressure and prevent “Bleeding” (Exercise-Induced Pulmonary Hemorrhage).

Manufacturing Authority

Marketed and Distributed by Healthy Inc from WHO-GMP & ISO 9001:2015 certified veterinary units.

  • Solubility Engineering: Frusemide is insoluble in water; our manufacturing process uses precise alkaline buffering to ensure it remains in solution without precipitating (crystallizing) over time.
  • Light Protection: The molecule degrades rapidly under UV light; we strictly use Type I Amber Glass to ensure potency retention.

Therapeutic Indications (Veterinary Use Only)

Indicated for Cattle, Horses, Dogs, and Cats:

  • Physiological Udder Edema: Reduces severe swelling in the udder of cows and heifers post-calving, relieving pain and facilitating milking.
  • Congestive Heart Failure (CHF): Removes excess fluid from the body to reduce the workload on the heart (common in dogs/cats).
  • Pulmonary Edema: Clears fluid from the lungs caused by pneumonia or heart disease.
  • EIPH (Racehorses): Prevention of nosebleeds caused by high blood pressure during strenuous exercise.
  • Ascites: Management of fluid accumulation in the abdomen due to liver or heart failure.
